Welcome to My Little House!

Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted a dollhouse. Sure...I had the Barbie Dreamhouse and the Townhouse and the Yacht...but having a 1/12 scale wooden, elaborate dollhouse was my dream. My dream came true when I found one in the paper! I would like to share my experience from start to finish and maybe give someone some ideas on the way. Hope you enjoy!

Comforter Sets

These were done with the scraps from Walmart. They look good enough to climb into! I actually used pillow stuffing to stuff the pillows. The Blue Bed set has Light blue satin sheets.

Windows

Don't be afraid to experiment. I did not like the factory windows...they were plain and boring. So...I went to Office Depot and bought some ink jet transparencies and made my own! I hope you like!

With the Lights ON

Grandma's bedroom is upstairs of the kitchen and you can see the adorable lights !

Kitchen

Before After

I had a real good time making all the food and cereal boxes in the kitchen. I bought some bakable clay at Michael's and made all the fruit with my son. We really did hae a good time and used this as therapy! The flooring is photo paper with a white linolium pattern and there is even a fruit border at the top of the walls. The fridge is filled with beer and chinese take out...wha more can you want!

Grandma's bedroom

I finished one of the bedrooms in peach paint and a beautiful wallpaper. I used tan carpeting and it has a ceiling fan with working light. Everything....the pretty pictures with frames, the wallpaper and the curtains are photo paper printed on my inkjet printer and this room is something my mother would stay in : )
